Role Summary / Job Purpose
The Global Talent Acquisition - Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment operations and leading a team of recruiters to meet AVASO's global staffing needs. This role contributes to the business by ensuring high-quality talent acquisition strategies are executed effectively, directly impacting the organization's ability to scale and maintain a competitive workforce across all international regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and cultivate a positive and collaborative team environment, ensuring team members are motivated and aligned with organizational goals.
- Prepare and manage the recruitment database, ensuring all candidate data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Ensure timely responses to hiring managers and candidates, ensuring smooth and efficient team operations.
- Monitor the performance of the team, set clear targets, and track progress against KPIs to ensure recruitment goals are met.
- Recruit, Manage and oversee special projects, including critical and high-priority hiring initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with recruitment objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of recruiters to deliver high-quality talent within established timelines and KPIs.
- Develop and implement advanced global sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent for niche, leadership, and critical projects.
- Take the lead in sourcing talent for challenging and urgent projects, ensuring the right skills are identified and delivered to meet business needs.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for recruitment-related challenges, providing strategic solutions to internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication between the recruitment team and hiring managers to ensure alignment on role requirements and candidate profiles.
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics, providing regular updates to the Global People & Culture Managers.
- Drive global employer branding initiatives to increase AVASO’s presence in key talent markets.
- Ensure all recruitment processes comply with local and international labor laws, as well as internal company policies.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Boolean search, data-driven recruitment analytics, and talent mapping.
- Deep expertise in global recruitment lifecycle management and international hiring best practices.
Tools / Systems / Technical Knowledge
- Expert level experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Advanced knowledge of professional networking platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and specialized job boards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data reporting and analysis.
Decision-Making Authority
- Selection of recruitment channels, team workload distribution, and initial offer negotiations.
- Significant influence on hiring standards, process improvements, and global talent acquisition strategy.
Problem-Solving Complexity
- Handles complex tasks such as managing global talent shortages and resolving multi-regional compliance issues.
- Expected to innovate recruitment workflows and introduce new technologies to improve team efficiency and candidate experience.
Stakeholder Management / Influence
- Frequent interaction with Department Heads, Hiring Managers, and the Global People & Culture leadership.
- Non-client facing role focused on internal leadership and partnership.
- High influence across cross-functional leadership teams and peers.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- 6-9 years of progressive experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Extensive experience in global recruitment, team leadership, and managing high-volume hiring within a corporate environment.
