Description:
The Partner Management Manager will lead AVASO's strategic initiatives to establish partnerships with global OEMs, including workstation providers (Dell, HP, Lenovo) and enterprise-class solution providers such as Cisco. Leveraging AVASO’s proprietary BOLT LNQ platform, the role emphasizes creating direct buying models with OEMs for workstations, networking, and enterprise-class hardware. Where direct agreements are not feasible, the role focuses on fostering channel reseller agreements by collaborating with distribution partners. The position is central to enhancing AVASO's procurement capabilities and global market presence through effective vendor and OEM management.
Responsibilities
- Strategic OEM Partnership Development:
- Lead efforts to establish AVASO as an OEM Partner with global leaders like Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, and others.
- Utilize BOLT LNQ to showcase AVASO's unique capabilities and drive partnership value.
- Identify and secure direct buying agreements with OEMs for workstations, networking, and enterprise-class solutions.
- Enterprise-Class Procurement Models:
- Develop and implement preferred direct procurement models with OEMs for networking solutions (e.g., Cisco).
- Establish strategic partnerships with distribution partners to create channel reseller agreements when direct OEM engagement isn't achievable.
- Vendor and Relationship Management:
- Serve as the central point of contact for global OEMs and vendors, ensuring strong relationships and aligned business objectives.
- Build a comprehensive roadmap for expanding and maintaining OEM and vendor partnerships across regions.
- Negotiation and Compliance Oversight
- Negotiate agreements with OEMs and distribution partners, ensuring favourable terms for AVASO.
- Monitor compliance with contractual terms and proactively address any conflicts or inefficiencies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with SCM, GSO, and other teams to align partnership activities with business objectives.
- Support transitions and file transfers to the PMT, ensuring all historical data and agreements are integrated.
- Performance Measurement and Reporting
- Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate the success of OEM partnerships and vendor relationships.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership, detailing progress and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies in partner management practices and recommend improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends to ensure AVASO remains competitive in its partnerships.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
- 7+ years in OEM/vendor management, supply chain, or similar roles.
- Proven track record in establishing OEM agreements and managing channel partnerships with major players like Cisco, Dell, and HP.
- Experience in workstation and networking procurement.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in vendor negotiations and contractual agreements.
- Proficiency in leveraging proprietary platforms like BOLT LNQ for OEM engagement.
- Analytical skills to evaluate partnership performance and develop actionable strategies.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
Performance Goals
- Establish direct OEM partnerships with Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Cisco within 12 months.
- Develop alternate procurement models via distribution partners for channel reseller agreements when direct setups are not feasible.
- Optimize procurement costs and streamline supply chains for both workstations and enterprise-class solutions globally.
- Leverage BOLT LNQ to highlight AVASO’s capabilities and secure OEM buy-in.
- Deliver measurable business value by ensuring operational efficiency and strategic alignment of partnerships.
