POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Lansweeper Support Specialist will provide dedicated technical and operational support for Lansweeper deployments across global Operational Technology (OT) environments within Zoetis Global Manufacturing and Supply (GMS). This role is responsible for ensuring the reliable performance, maintenance, and continuous optimization of the Lansweeper platform, allowing design and deployment teams to focus on strategic design initiatives.

Key responsibilities include executing and managing software updates (cloud and hubs/sensors instances), monitoring system health and performance, developing and maintaining critical dashboards, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors. The specialist will also support automation, integration, and data quality initiatives to enhance system efficiency and accuracy, while improving visibility into obsolete assets, system vulnerabilities, and lifecycle status.

In addition, this role will collaborate closely with the design and implementation teams to identify and deliver new capabilities that expand the functionality and adoption of Lansweeper, driving greater maturity and effectiveness in OT asset management practices across Zoetis sites.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Lansweeper Administration & Support

Manage Lansweeper configuration, updates, and reporting. Ensure accurate asset discovery and system health. Providing reporting and training as needed across GMS. Establish key Reporting and continuous improvement metrics for Lansweeper in Zoetis GMS. Establish a CoP (Community of practice) for all key stakeholder across GMS,

 

Automation & Integration

Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Python) for automation and system integrations in general. Consolidate installation details for every site (Sensors, Hubs, passwords, documents, settings etc).

 

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

Act as liaison between deployment team, business users, and vendor for support and feature requests. Establish critical partnerships with Zoetis Lansweeper design team as well as Lansweeper vendor to ensure all support issues are properly channelled and addressed.

 

Networking & Security Compliance 

Coordinate firewall/network requests and ensure Lansweeper aligns with OT cybersecurity standards when issues related to live installations arise

 

Continuous Improvement

Identify gaps, collect feedback, and propose enhancements to improve system usability.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

 

Financial Accountability

 

  • Financial Responsibility: No direct budget ownership

 

Supervision

 

  • Team Management: No direct reports.
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination: Collaborate with Lansweeper vendor support, external service providers, and internal ZTD support teams to ensure timely issue resolution and system optimization.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of OT experience with strong automation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Lansweeper (or similar asset management tools).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based IT enterprise environments (REST APIs, AWS, GCP or Azure)
  • Familiarity with OT cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks.

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Lansweeper administration and reporting.
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
  • Scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation and integrations.
  • Understanding of IT/OT integration and secure architectures.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

 

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

 

Virtual role requiring flexibility to support ZTD GMS colleagues across different time zones and projects that are globally based. Some flexibility in work hours may be required when working with global, cross functional teams.

Min travel: Not usually required to travel as part of role unless specifically needed, less than 5%
