Role - Knowledge Coordinator (Process s Quality Coordinator)

 

Purpose

Ensures all knowledge articles created across functions consistently follow approved taxonomy, metadata standards, quality benchmarks, and AI ingestion guidelines while remaining clear, intuitive, and genuinely useful for end users.

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge Quality s Governance

  • Validate completeness and accuracy of mandatory metadata (category, sub-category, tags, CI, ownership).
  • Ensure articles comply with approved templates, writing standards, and AI ingestion requirements.
  • Review articles for clarity, structure, and consistency before publication or ingestion.
  • Support Knowledge Managers during audits, governance reviews, and compliance checks.

End-User Experience s Readability

  • Review content through an end-user lens to ensure language is simple, actionable, and easy to understand.
  • Ensure articles reflect how users naturally ask questions and seek help (plain language, intent-based phrasing).
  • Identify and correct content that is overly technical, ambiguous, or misaligned with user expectations.
  • Guide Knowledge Champions to improve readability, tone, and relevance without altering technical accuracy.

Lifecycle s Operational Oversight

  • Maintain and publish monthly review dashboards (outdated, retiring articles).
  • Monitor knowledge health trends and proactively flag quality or lifecycle risks.

 

  • Track AI Digital Assistant ingestion issues and coordinate fixes with custodians and managers.
  • Ensure corrective actions are followed through to closure.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the central quality checkpoint between authors, Knowledge Champions, custodians, and managers.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to improve overall content maturity.
  • Ensure consistent application of standards across regions and functions.

 

 

Success Measures

  • 95% metadata completeness rate across published articles.
  • Zero AI ingestion failures caused by template, formatting, or structure issues.
  • 100% on-time delivery of monthly knowledge review and lifecycle reports.
  • Measurable improvement in article clarity and AI answer accuracy over time.
