About the Role
We are seeking a highly professional and polished IT Warehouse Subject Matter Expert (SME) to oversee depot operations at our US Depot in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in IT asset management combined with warehouse and depot management expertise. This role requires a client-facing professional who can ensure operational excellence, maintain inventory accuracy, manage depot processes, and support service delivery in line with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee end-to-end depot management, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in compliance with company standards.
• Serve as the SME for depot and warehouse IT operations.
• Manage IT asset lifecycles including receiving, staging, inventory management, configuration, shipping, and disposal.
• Supervise depot workflows including inbound/outbound logistics, storage optimization, and quality control.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions; present updates, reports, and insights in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records in asset and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, ERP tools).
• Coordinate with internal teams, depot staff, delivery managers, and vendors to resolve escalations and ensure timely execution.
• Implement and follow ISO/ITAD best practices for compliance, depot security, and data handling.
• Drive continuous improvements in depot performance, operational processes, and client satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, compliance standards, and safety protocols at the depot.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in IT hardware handling, staging, depot or warehouse management.
• Strong knowledge of depot management processes (inbound, outbound, staff oversight, compliance, and reporting).
• Hands-on experience with IT equipment (servers, laptops, networking devices, peripherals).
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS platforms and ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interact confidently with clients.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
