IT Site Services Technician

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Lenovo out-of-warranty support.
• Facilitating OEM coordination for in-warranty repairs.
• The resource will work independently and within a cross functional highly collaborative team environment to provide advanced support and onsite troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, configure, deploy, and reclaim computer.
• Create/update problem tracking records within ServiceNow tool.
• Drives ownership of user issues: monitors progress and keeps user informed of resolution through final solution.
• Adhere to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures related to working in laboratory settings and the care and maintenance of computing hardware.
• Adhere to local inventory management procedures and maintain accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) updates.
