The team shall be responsible only for the tasks expressly identified within this SOW. Any additional activities, dependencies, or scope variations shall require prior written change approval between the Parties.
Team A
The team shall be made up of full-time installation technicians and shall perform the following tasks.:
- Unpacking, preparing and building the thin clients
- Inventory of devices and legacy hardware
- Validating end user data via a desk-side visit as part of the agreed end user survey
- Data wiping of legacy hardware using the Blanco software application. Supplier responsibility is limited to execution of customer-approved wiping procedures and tools. Supplier shall not be liable for pre-existing data integrity issues or customer policy deficiencies. Supplier shall not be responsible for customer data retention obligations, regulatory archival requirements, or validation of customer-defined wiping standards.
- Handover – What was done\issues from previous shift and what will be done on next shift
- Logistics – moving equipment where required and disposal of packaging, working alongside building management teams to ensure this is completed in a timely manner.
- Stock management\Inventory updates – updating CMDB (ISAC) records based on information reasonably available during deployment activities. Supplier shall update CMDB records based on information available during deployment activities and shall not be responsible for pre-existing discrepancies.
Team B
- The size of the team shall be based on one person being able to carry out on average of 15 desk deployments during a shift (although this is only an indicative figure for resource planning purposes and excludes any time spent on logistics, data entry e.g. Reporting, travel, etc. The referenced deployment volumes are indicative estimates for planning purposes only and shall not constitute a binding SLA, KPI, minimum commitment, or performance guarantee.)
- The team shall predominantly be made up of Installation Technicians. The team shall perform tasks, but not limited to the following: Deployment of the thin client devices to the users’ desks and decom of existing hardware
- Where applicable and agreed on a country-by-country basis, the decommissioning and removal of all legacy equipment back to central location (to be made ready, including packing, for collection by the Supplier’s disposal / re-marketing provider)
- Nightly reporting, including the total number of devices, number of successful deployments and number of failures with reason why, as defined by Validating end user data via a desk-side visit as part of the agreed end user survey
Responsibilities
- Supplier shall use commercially reasonable efforts to support mutually agreed project timelines, subject to customer dependencies, access availability, site readiness, and third-party coordination.
- Perform day-to-day project management duties related to project including the production of daily, weekly and monthly reports for the Deployment Stream, though the reporting obligations shall be limited to standard operational reporting formats mutually agreed between the Parties and subject to change control
- Supervise and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
- Regularly communicate project status to project stakeholders
- Evaluate potential problems and technical issues and develop solutions
- Raise requests to support engineering and project teams
- Resources need to work in line with policies & guidelines. Any material policy changes impacting Supplier obligations, cost, delivery timelines, or operational processes shall require mutual written agreement.
