Job Title: Depot Deskside support

 

Key Responsibilities –

 

  • CIS Deskside Support with strong Experience in Maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware and computer systems (Mac and Windows) is the job of deskside support.
  • Tech-savvy people who are self-motivated enough to provide consistent customer support with minimal supervision will thrive in this role.
  • On any given day, deskside support professionals perform on-site or remote servicing, repair, and installation of computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Responsible for Asset audits and maintain the tech bar asset inventory. Must record all the asset related transactions into ticket.
  • Should have a fair knowledge about network and AV equipment and able to identify the cause and log vendor calls.
  • Most deskside support professionals work full time in an office environment. However, many do not work common nine-to-five hours. Due to their vital role in supporting businesses 24/7, they may be required work nights or weekends.
  • Deskside support technicians take repair requests in person and by email, phone, or live chat.
  • Offer Customer Service, Problem-Solve Computer Issues, Provide Hardware and Application Support, Install Software Upgrades, Create and Maintain Documentation, Offer Customer Service, Problem-Solve Computer Issues, Provide Hardware and Application Support
  • Travel to Below site in case Needed, Travels and accommodation shall be paid back on Receipt basis

Job Requirements Essential Skills:

 

  • Strong experience as Desktop support engineer
  • Strong experience in supporting executive level users
  • Network trouble shooting skills
  • VIP Support skills
  • MAC & Windows support
  • Effective communication in English & local language are mandatory
  • Good knowledge on ticketing and monitoring tools

 

Nice to Have Skills.

 

  • SCCM
  • Acquaintance with Intune

 

Qualifications:

 

• A+ certification or equivalent knowledge

• Hardware / OEM warranty certifications

• MAC certification

• Familiarity with ITIL processes
